Roata Norocului is the first privat restaurant in Brasov, opened in 1991, and started as a family business. The team of professional cooks and waiters, as well as the culinary experience gathered during all these years, guarantee the high quality of our services.


Our tasty dishes make our place famous for respecting the traditional recipes, but also for improving them all the time.


The Romanian cookbook is made up of recipes from mum’s kitchen, always patient and understanding, waiting for you at home with delicious and warm dishes.


The profile of the restaurant – traditional Romanian food – allows the serving of well known and traditional dishes from Romania at the correct prices.


True also, there is no turist or local men who hasn’t heard that “the best tripe soup is served at Roata”. The very well known grilled minced meat rolls or the raw beef tartar have always been the favourites  among the real food seekers.  You have enough reasons to eat here, inside or out on the terrace, and enjoy a home made soup or fish.  The menu is full with dishes of pork, poultry, duck , beef and venison.  Or you are always welcome to enjoy  some cheese dumplings mixed with sour cream and jam.


Our rooms and also the summer terrace, having 150 places each, together with the high quality live music, give you the perfect ambiance where you will always feel excellent.
